Izzorah "Rah" Ceeow (light green) hails from the most narrow part of Ceeow territory. To protect her land, his mother, a warrior, agreed to present her son (Rah) in marriage to one of the most powerful female warriors of the Falehla clan (3 steps from being tzesar - or leader - of the entire clan at the time). Rah, knowing he was gay and having experienced abuse at his future mate's hand, escaped the night before his marriage feast by bribing one of the servants to let him take a horse and ride out across the property once more, since he would be sent to live with the Falehlas. He rode as far South as the Fasra river, traded his horse for a ferry down to Red Stone City, and using some of his parents' wedding gift (cash), bribed a human to take him to Ruh City. He signed up to join the Praetorian Guard on Tarth, but once he arrived, he slipped away and found one of his male cousins who'd emigrated two years before.

The adopted son of Luc Saint-Cyr, Senth Antonello, was born on the Ruh continent (slate grey). He is half-human and half-Kin. The term for this is HalfKin, said to have been coined because no one wanted to be called "half-human."
