This unattractive planet registers no sign of life when scanned. However, when the Conqueror's Droid Discovery Force landed on the planet in 4650 tradestandard in search of minerals and other natural resources, they found a highly advanced civilization. The clouds and swirling gases that make it appear to be a gas giant are illusions. The inhabitants of Notidisia are peace loving, but since contacted by the empire, has been accused of rebel activity against the empire -- as yet unproven.
Although it has a treaty with the Tarthian Empire and pays tribute to it, it has never been a full partner. There are four moons, all of which have important tactical locations and are used for mining. The Governor of Notidisia holds a special seat in the Imperial Parliament.
Trivia regarding the governors: The last five have been beheaded by the Conqueror for various serious infractions. The sixth was imprisoned for the rape of one of the Conqueror's Jades, Khyff Antonello. She was recently released and ordered to leave the empire. Each governor has a life-sized statue erected to him or her, lining the walkway to the Governor's Throne Room. Each statue has had its head removed by order of the Conqueror as a reminder to the new Governor as to where her loyalties should lie.
