Izzorah Ceeow is called "Izzy" by his bandmates and family, but his lover, Luc Saint-Cyr, nicknamed him Rah, which means passion in Luc's native language. Born on Felidae in 4653, Rah is one of several Kin Changelings secretly created by Pietas. Though immortal, his Sempervian nature did not activate until a critical injury required a blood transfusion, which Luc provided.

Although a Kin, Rah appears human at first glance. His furskin is tawny gold, and looks like velvet. His skin has the texture of plush like the softest teddy bear. The T-shirt hides his pelt, a virtual lion's mane across his upper chest from the top of his pectoral muscles to below the collarbone. It feels baby fine like his hair, and is golden in color. His hair is quite dark.
Rah in the pool atop the Nizamrak Building where he and Luc live. Kin do not tan, since they are covered with furskin, but they enjoy basking in the sun. Rah is an excellent swimmer and loves the water.
Rah in his favorite jeans. He prefers T-shirts to button downs and keeps old clothes not only for sentimental reasons, but also because he's too thrifty-minded to "waste" money on clothing. The turquoise bracelet is a gift from Luc, made from stone on Rah's homeworld.

In these portraits, Rah's distinctive Kin profile is visible. A Kin's nose has a higher bridge than a human's, and the entire nose is wider. They appear lion-like, but have the playfulness and generally gentle nature of a domestic cat. Like cats, they are attached to their alphas, but while obedient and genial, they are far from tame.
The saying, "No one can own a cat" goes double for Kin.

In this picture, Rah is wearing a new outfit Luc bought for him. The belt is studded with onyx, gems, and gold. He argued that it was too costly, and Luc had to clasp his hands together behind his back to keep him from removing it. It took more than a few kisses to convince him to wear it, but in the end, he submitted to Luc's request. Note that the claws recessed beneath his human-looking nails do not show, even in this position. They are only visible when he releases them. They extend approximately the length of his fingernails. The thumb nail is much wider. Kin use their claws to pick up tiny objects, as well as to groom themselves or their loved ones.
