Kyrenie Firestorm
Raging Glory
Firestorms blast the desert on Kyrenie with enough heat to turn sand into crystals. Kyrenie firecrystals are the hardest gem known to man, exceeding that of diamonds. They are found in jewelry as well as industrial uses, including navgear for jump-capable ships.
It won 4th place in the 2010 Preditor's and Editor's Readers Poll.

The Nizamrak Building
Located in Tarth City, it is home to Luc Saint-Cyr, and the center for his many corporations; For Women Only, Hire-a-Kin, idBot, Lucsondis Enterprises, Lucsondis Entertainment, and the exquisite penthouse comprising the top three floors, fondly called "the Loft." The lowest floor you can see in this picture is the 68th. Jamin created it using textures, which gave it a 3D look. The drawing won 4th place in the 2010 Preditor's and Editor's Readers Poll.

Jamin created the galaxy, and I added the labels.
The Great Barrier resembles a string of pearls but in reality is a network of navcapsules. Beams between the trillions upon trillions of tiny capsules spread across parsecs. They scramble navigation and broadcast a warning not to venture further, due to possible genetic damage.
